Persona fans can look forward to an array of new content following the Xbox Games Showcase. Atlus has already announced the anticipated Persona 3 Reload, a substantial remake of a series favorite. Additionally, fans can anticipate the release of Persona 5 Tactica, the latest in a series of Persona 5 spinoffs. As the name suggests, Persona 5 Tactica offers grid-based tactical gameplay, departing from the standard turn-based RPG combat of the previous games, and appealing to lovers of games like Fire Emblem.
The game's unique features aren't limited to combat style. The Phantom Thieves of Persona 5 sport new chibi designs that contrast with the anime style of previous entries, as revealed in the trailer. The game takes place in a new world with a palace, as well as armies of appropriately themed villains. The Thieves join forces with a new faction known as the Rebel Corps, using the familiar commands and options, including their guns and the titular Personas.
A new conundrum for the Phantom Thieves
Players can expect to get their hands on Persona 5 Tactica on Xbox consoles and PC on November 17th of this year. Game Pass subscribers can also access the game on its day of release, just like with Persona 3 Reload.
